Bagdad Ladies Friendship Group
Come and join us for our monthly get-together.
A relaxed group of women of all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Coming together to build friendships and support each other in a welcoming and inclusive setting.
Group participants are encouraged to share their skills, hobbies and interests with the group.
Some of the activities and causes the BLFG have taken part in so far are:

▪︎Share the Dignity, It's in the Bag Campaign
▪︎Samaritan's Purse, Operation Christmas Child
▪︎Purple House
▪︎Knitting
▪︎Crocheting
▪︎Cross stitch
▪︎Paper crafts
It is completely up to the individual if they would like to participate in the activities. Attending to have morning tea and a chat is completely fine.
Morning tea, coffee and tea is supplied. A gold coin donation towards the cost is appreciated.
If you would like to attend but need assistance with transport, please contact us and we will try to assist you.

Candle Making - 2nd July 2019
We had our friendship group meeting this morning and we had Kelly Woodward come along from Candle Kitsch to teach us how to make candles.
We all bought along a cup/container of our choice to turn into a beautiful candle.
A huge thank you to Kelly Woodward for teaching us how to make candles and Rhonda Foster and Leonie Medcraft Ma for a lovely morning tea.
We had lots of fun, laughter and conversation while learning something new.

Learning to Crochet - 6th August 2019
We had our friendship group meeting this morning and we had some wonderful community members come in to teach us how to crochet.
We all bought along some 8 ply wool and a 4.mm crochet hook.
A huge thank you to Meg, Katie, Marie and Rhonda for teaching everyone and putting on morning tea.
We had lots of fun, laughter and conversation while learning something new.
